Serena Jones, MAHM, LAc
Master of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine
Starting life as a woodland sprite playing in forest and lake, Serena grew up with a love of natural things.
From an early age she loved making lotions, potions, and various herbal concoctions.
Her first job, while in Elementary school, was caring for an assortment of animals in the “Critter Room” at the Leslie Science Center.
Her interest in medicine and healing led her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan.
Not satisfied with conventional medicine, Serena traveled the world and worked a variety of jobs trying to find her true vocation.
A brief stint working in a homeopathic pharmacy cemented her idea of becoming a healer.
The epiphany came while working in a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic in San Francisco, seeing patients arrive in a wheelchair and leave on their own two feet.
On fire with a passion to share this gift of healing with others, she attended Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts, earning her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
